It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences to the family and friends of Charlie Campbell. Growing up in the presence of such a fine gentleman was such an honour and a priveledge. We had very many great adventures and left many footprints on this earth, but have taken from it many memories that I cherish.

Celeste and family:
Please accept my condolences for your loss. I only wish I had his ability to put in to words what he was feeling. I still have and treasure the letter he wrote to me on my retirement. We had a long talk at an Eagles game last winter and he talked glowingly about the kids, grandchildren, and Mira. I am living in Halifax and will not be there for the Service but know that I will be there in spirit.

Celeste, I am so saddened and shocked by Charlie's death. He was a great friend and mentor to me when I started with the govt. and become a wonderful friend over the years. Our debates over hockey will always be fond memories that I will cherish forever. His ability to spin a story and his keen sense of humour will never be forgotten.
