I know that my family are sadden by the loss of their brother and uncle to many of you. I just want everyone to know that Jimmie was a huge part of my life and the life of my two sisters. Jimmie lived with us for a long time and he was a fun loving uncle to who entertained us, cared for us, and made sure we made it to school. Even if our clothes were on the wrong way which apparently occurred regularily, spit glue to hold down a crazy stray hair and then kraft dinner for lunch. The bazaar Friday nights when we would re-enact the Gong Show and Jimmie would "gong" us with his wooden spoon and metal pie pan. The way he would dress us up at Halloween in five different versions of a gypsy to hit the neighbor next to us for more candy apples. The way he used to rock Kim back and forth and yell "my baby, my baby" and pretend she was falling on the floor. The laughs watching Lavern and Shirley, Happy Days and I love Lucy. How he would make Meriangue Icing for our cakes and would not allow anyone else to lick the bowl cause he wanted it the most, we would get the electric whip which was also half licked. How he would joke and spell liquor, "licker", he had a huge heart and had a quick tempered tongue. He never could stay mad for long. lol How he would be a huge part of the fantastic fun when we went camping on Sangari island in Cape Breton when home on summer vacation, he always wanted to be "Mother May I". He really was a bid kid at heart himself. I will look back with fondness and love because he did have a big part of shaping who I turned out to be. "which by the way i think is pretty terrific". Thank you Jimmie for being there for me and for this family. You will never be forgotten. We love You.

Good morning,
I'm deeply sorry for the passing of Jimmy.
I'm Darren Ulrich, son of Louis and Roberta Ulrich from Chilliwack, B.C.
The last time I got to meet the family was back in the 70's when John and Pauline & family and myself drove by for a visit and I got to meet the family and specially Gordon.
I'm in Oromocto,NB. Just retired from the military. 32 years. Beet my father by a few months.
I know my father and mother would have loved to come down for the funeral. Jimmy was their favourite cousin.
And my mother Roberta thought he was a sweet heart.
I wish the family all the best.

Our condolences to the Warburton Family.
A sad day, for us who knew cousin Jimmy!
Music was his legacy!
What a wonderful voice and he knew how to use it!
I will never forget "Once a day" and "Engine Engine #9" as 2 of his standards.
Through the years, while growing up, many nights we would go over for a visit to Regina & Gordon's,
(because that's where the parties were!)
out comes a guitar and away he went!!!
Jimmy would sing, Regina would sing, and even Gary would sing, once in a while!
(Lucille was too far away.)
Jimmy always would sing!
Those certainly were the days my friends!
What a wonderful gift for all in our family!
Then years later,
He and Debbie along with a group of friends, went out to karaoke for about 10 years every Friday & Saturday night, 2 peas in a pod!
They sang and danced!!
I will Never forget Jimmy screaming...
(if anyone else in the bar dared to sing one of their songs)
"Randy that's my song!! Or that's Debbies song!!"
Ha Ha Ha!!! So funny!!!!
"Music is the tie that binds"
Jimmy, we all will miss you and the music,
And we never will forget you!!!
On behalf of Corrine, Linda, Buster
& The Petrie family,
We'll see you again!
Randy.
