I was very sadned to hear of Patricia's passing. My mind is filled with memories of school and I always enjoyed talking to Patricia as the years went by. Mine, hers and Kevin White's birthdays were around the same time so there was always a happy birthday wish from her. My favorite memory is how Patricia always seemed to pick me when it came time to pick Christmas gift names out of a hat in elementary school...I could always count on a warm pair of socks and a box of lifesavers!! Rest peacefully Patricia- you certainly were a classy and wonderful lady.

I would like to express my condolences to all the family. I was very shocked and saddened to hear of my friend's passing. I worked with Patricia for years in hairdressing. I still remember the first day I met her on my job interview. I couldn't have possibly been more nervous. I had Patricia and Donna interviewing me at the same time. The two of them kept cracking jokes about Donna's broken sandal . I was all serious and they both had a good sense of humour. I didn't think I made a good impression ,but I guess I had , just didn't know it yet. That day I met a woman who would share many memories in my life. She would help me adjust to living not just miles away from home but provinces away from home. She would help me feel at home in Cape Breton. Thankyou for the memories Patricia ! I will cherish them always !
