I only met him once but the visit was full of kindness and an infective warmth that permeated his home and his family. We went out for dinner later and I will never forget his caring kindness and making sure to help his wife on with her coat. His kindness was touching. RIP

Our deepest sympathy is with Audrey and the entire extended family. Earl was a gentle man with deep convictions and a wonderful zest for life which he also instilled in his family. It was a great pleasure to have the opportunity to travel to Cape Breton and spend time with both Earl and Audrey, and we wish we could have done it more often.

My thoughts are with each of you at this time. Earl was such a warm person to be around and always made me feel welcome whenever I visited your family in Cape Breton. He always had a kind word or thought for everyone. He lived a very active life and enjoyed every minute of it. That's something to be admired. I will remember him fondly.
