I wish to express my condolences to the family for the loss of Betty, a dedicated woman lost so early in life. We are never ready to pass away, at any age, which shows that our Creator, Jehovah, did not purpose life to end. The Bible says "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (in God's memory) will hear his voice and come out . . . to a resurrection of life" (John 5:28, 29) And then God "will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more . . . nor pain be anymore" in the Paradise to come, right here on earth. (Revelation 21:4)

We are all very sorry to hear about Betty’s passing.
Betty has been a lifelong friend and a great neighbour. She was a big part of going home to Cape Breton with her warm welcome, fabulous cooking and energetic outings. I am lucky to have known such a generous person.

Thinking of you, Jimmy, at this very sad time. It is good to know that you have lots of friends and family to help you in the days ahead. Thanks to Betty and yourself our kids all have many wonderful memories of their summer vacations spent in Grandma and Grandpa's old house. We always ate well as I think Betty started to cook as soon as she saw the car turn into the driveway. One of the things everyone most looked forward to were the nightly Tarabish games at the kitchen table.
