Obituary of Joseph 'Junior' Eldon Clements, Port Morien

 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joe ‘Junior’ Clements, age 83 on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bridgett (Hart) Clements.

He loved hunting deer & rabbit in his younger years. He was also an avid Toronto Fan and  most of all,loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by four sons, Kenny (Lisa) ,Port Morien,  Donald (Lynda), Donkin, Ronald, Port Morien, Jody (Donna) ,Port Morien and one daughter, Kathy (Calder) ,St. Catherine’s Ont.; brothers ,Allie (Berthie), John (Belinda), Barry (Rhode) and sisters, Marilyn, Sharon (Jim) and Mary (Leonard).

Junior is also survived by eight grandchildren, Ryan, Stacy (AJ), Megan(Kadeem) ,Taylor, Breagh, Kenneth, Devyn and Chelsea and one great-grandson, Zaidyn and many nieces & nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Marion (Tory) Spencer on December 29, 2001,and by sisters ,Ethel, Hazel, Freda and brothers, Lewis, James, and Henry.

There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation has take place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff on 4B, and to the Palliative Care unit at the Cape Regional Hospital, and also to the Cape Breton V.O.N.
