Debbie: Just learned of Buck's passing and we were shocked. I have many wonderful memories of our time in Goose Bay; hockey, racket ball, the shack, not to mention work. Buck was always a good friend to me, and I am ever so thankful to have had the chance to speak with him once again at Donnie Deveau's funeral. I thought he looked very much like the Buck that I remembered, albeit, a few years older, like us all. Gerard and I lived in the barracks while stationed at St. John's Detachment. A quiet and reserved person at the time but would come out with something funny all of a sudden. I am saddened to learn of his passing. My prayers and thoughts to the family
