Obituary of Jeffery Gordon Christie

Jeffery Gordon Christie Reserve Mines, Ontario It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Jeffery Gordon Christie on July 10, 2016 with family by his side, at Glace Bay Hospital, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Born on August 24,1962. Loving son of Bob and Lois Christie of North York, Ontario. He was a loving husband to Christine (Curtis) Christie of Reserve Mines, N.S. and loving father to Stephanie Justice (Serguei) of Barrie, Ontario and to Travis of Reserve Mines, NS. Brother of Karen Mason (Norm) of Washago, Ontario; Stepfather to Crystal Curtis Griffin of Ottawa and Adam Keshvari of Ottawa. A Loving grandfather to Tatyanna of Barrie, Ontario; respected by many aunts and uncles and cousins of the Christie and the Gibbs families. Special friend to many from Emery CI, Weston, Ontario and the Finchdale area, as well as good friends from the Brampton area. Jeff will be missed deeply by all. Jeffery was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth of North York. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. A celebration of life will take place on August 13, 2016 at the Woodbridge Legion, Ontario as an Open House, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. RSVP to Stephanie.justice@hotmail.com would be appreciated.
