My sincerest condolences to Walter's family.
A true man of service to his community. He coached us in Little League right up through Juvenile and helped us become Maritime Champions not once, but twice. He was kind, encouraging, supportive and consistently fair to all. Most importantly, he always promoted fun and laughter for us kids. It was always a treat for me to see him at the Hawk's Club when visiting home where we'd reminisce on the many memorable stories of those days.

What can I say? Walter was truly the best of the best. I've known him about 30 years and know that he was a gentleman, true friend, great family man and a wonderful story teller. He worked with Dad at the Coke Ovens and I heard a few (funny )stories of their time working together. Walter was our first choice to be Godfather to Cody and he truly embraced the position. My deepest condolences to you, Toni, Lisa, Carrie, Brian and all your families. I hope your wonderful memories help you get through the hard days ahead. RIP Walter.
