Obituary of William Edward ''Billy" Watts, New Waterford

It is with broken hearts, that we announce the sudden passing of William “Billy” Watts, at the age of 61 at his home in New Waterford on August 8th, 2019.

Born in New Waterford, he is the son of Mary Marjorie “Marge” (Livingston) and the late Hartwell Watts.

Billy was a member of Calvin United Church. In the early eighties, he was a porter at the New Waterford Hospital and he worked with his dad at Devco railway. Most recently he was employed with City Wide Taxi.  Billy was loved by many of his clients and was always there with a helpful hand. Billy's nature was always to help others. He loved his dogs and will be missed by his faithful companions, Sophie and Zoe. 

There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12th at 2 pm at Calvin United Church, New Waterford with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating.

Donations in Billy’s memory may be made to Calvin United Church. A private burial will take place in Union Grove Cemetery, Scotchtown.
