I'm so sorry to hear about Walter's passing. I fondly remember spending time with both you and Walter as a child when I spent weekends at my grandparents house on brookside street.
Thinking of you and your family at this time

My sincere condolences to Walter's family. I served in 35 Med Coy with him, he was Sgt Fisher back then. I learned a lot from him, some I still actively think about. He will certainly be missed.

Wally's volunteer work with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Breton will always be greatly appreciated. Wally chaired the Activities Committee for many years, in which he helped and attended all the activities planned for the children of the agency. He was a concerned and caring Big Brother to his Little Brother, he always made the time for his mentee. Thank you for so many wonderful years you gave as a volunteer to our children. You will be missed but not forgotten. My condolences to Sarah and Neil.

Walter was my brother, we drifted apart . Yet we were still brother and sister. It warms my heart to see the condolences and friends he had while serving with 35 Med Coy, he loved what he did, he loved the Military, his son and wife. I hope he is at peace now. He will take care of his family from above. Knowing he is with our Mom and Dad. I will miss him. Walter from one Veteran to another Veteran I thank you for your service 20 years plus. May you be at forever rest now. Love your Sister.

My deepest regrets to Wally’s entire family on his passing. I knew Wally from the time he joined 35 Med Coy, until I transfered to the Regular Force. We did several new recruit courses together as instructors as well as running into one another whether in Aldershot or Gagetown. Always a conscientious soldier who gave his best at all times. RIP Wally.
