"Old Neighbor Bob" is pictured below with my son who absolutely adored him. Every time Landon would hear the sound of the snow blower he would rush outside in hopes that Bob would let him use it. Bob happily obliged because by the time Bob was finished clearing the snow in his yard, he would be rather tired. He taught Landon how to use all the controls and manoeuvre around with great patience. It's sad to look over and not see his bedroom light on or the green light outside his door. He will forever be in our memories. Rest in peace Old Neighbor Bob xo

I had many fond memories of Bob working at Acadian Lines. He always had room for one more parcel. Our deepest condolences from Lorrie and Margaret Densmore.

Passing along deepest condolences to you all. I have such fond memories of Bob, from when we were neighbors in Shubenacadie. In particular the night I had him convinced that I’d tamed a skunk not to spray. Judging by his panicked reaction he truly didn’t realize it was a very lifelike stuffed toy, as I spoke softly to the critter and cradled it in my arms. There was never a dull moment!
I know I can speak on behalf of my mum, Dorothy and late dad, Isaac, that they truly appreciated the friendship they had with you as neighbours in Shubie.
It’s interesting to see that Bob had roots in Whitby as that’s where I currently live. Not much farmland around these days.
Take care and know many thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Sincerely, Jen (Walls) Peart
