To the Gallant Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. I grew up in New Waterford and took Home Ec classes from "Mrs. Gallant". I still use tips in the kitchen that she taught me as a teen-ager at Mount Carmel School and I often think of her when I do!! She was a kind and gentle woman. I am very sorry for your loss.
With sympathy,
Florence Milley

Dear Ann Marie, Alanna, Anita, Adele, Pat, Bernard and John,
I remember your beautiful mother Patricia, and all of you and your dad from many happy years ago and many wonderful times we had together as children in Boisdale. Our parents, Donald & Elizabeth were great friends with Dave & Patricia. Your mom always had a lovely smile, was very kind to us as children, and I remember that she had a wonderful laugh too. I know that Donnie and Danny share these beautiful childhood memories, too. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless and may your dear mother rest in peace.

I am very sorry to read of Patricia's death. I was in Grade 7 at Mount Carmel when she came to teach - although I did not take her class, she teaching "Home Ec". But she was very good to all of us students. Then a few years later Fr. Bernie came to Mount Carmel. By that time I was in Grade 12. For a number of years I had contact with the family through various connections. My prayers and sympathy are with you. Peace be with you! Fr. Tom MacNeil

To all of Mrs. Gallant's family, please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your Mom. Seems like I knew her all my life and I loved that she always remembered my name when we would meet. She and my late Mother were friends and shared lots of sewing/knitting/crocheting and quilting projects during their times as members of St. John's Guild. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs and God Bless!
