Our memories start in the '70's well into the '80's. my wife Jacqueline (JACKIE) and I with two kids in the bungalows on the lake down the Bengal road, the funnest times in our yearly trips down the Mira, 'Gatha was a real sweetheart, good as gold always up for fun and shopping trips to Sydney, BBQ's and my sister Karens meals. Jack, 'Gatha ,karen, Sonny, Buddy, and Diane, Gerald oh my stars the list could go on forever, but the love, the friendship, the caring was who these people were. It was an honour to have known both 'Gatha and Jack, and the fun was the best. 'Gatha, a great lady, a true friend, and we shall miss her.
My heart attack ruined our trips down home but the memories will last forever in our hearts.
Rest in Peace, 'Gatha a life well lived and may you and Jack have a cuppa tea and say Hi to Karen and Sonny for us when you re-unite, we'll get together again up there!!!
An awesome friend as well as a very nice lady!

I don't have a specific memory of Gatha just meeting a sweet sweet lady who became one of my best friends Mother in Law. I met her a few times in Halifax years ago before I left for AB. I always remember her as a sweetheart and beautiful soft soul. As well as her late husband Jack. Being from Cape Breton I could feel the love and comfort from her the first time I met her. Rest in peace sweet Gatha. My sincere condolences go to all of the Family. XOXO

I have so many great memories of Aunt Gatha from parking my bike in the yard for school, to skating on the ice Uncle Jackie had made for us. She was always smiling and always asked if you wanted something to eat. Gatha and Jackie loved the bungalow and loved family gatherings. We got to spend time with her in Florida when the gang visited and we had a great time. Whenever I came to visit the bay she was always there to welcome everybody in the family she loved everybody. Rest in peace aunt Gatha I am sure Uncle Jackie is reading the paper in heaven waiting for you to join him for tea. Love you Duane, Kelley and Family
