To Pauline’s family
It is with sadness that I received the news of Pauline’s death. I worked with her many years ago at The New Waterford Consolidated Hospital and I knew her to be a very compassionate lady whose focus was to provide wonderful care for the patients. Her kindness and concern was also for the families wanting to make sure they had the support they needed. Personally I experienced such respect from her and for that I am very grateful.

Dear Carmel and David,

She was an exceptional lady! She and mom (Essie) played many games of bridge together, with lots of laughter!
I babysat both of you many times, especially when a bridge game was in the making!
Your mom made the most delicious pork pies!!

Carmel and David, I am so sorry to read of your mothers passing. She was a wonderful mother, nurse and friend. I can remember visiting you in New Waterford after my parents Millie and Charlie Wagstaff moved to Port Greville. The visit was filled with happiness and caring.

Carmel and David: I am sorry to read of your mother's death. An "efficient and take-charge person" with a "heart-of-compassion" and lots of hospitality. Her piano playing was very entertaining and brought life to many gatherings. Her nursing career also showed these traits. She was very kind to us "kids" at the time! Her husband/your father, Frank, was a wonderful person, a great teacher and an excellent school administrator. I was a student at Mount Carmel during those years and so give this from a "student perspective". My prayerful support and sympathy to you. Peace be with you.
