Linda May (Grover) Crosman, RN Glace Bay / Kemptville, Ont. With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Linda May (Grover) Crosman, peacefully at home in Kemptville, Ontario, on Saturday, October 9, 2021, aged 72. Born on June 19, 1949, in Canso, N.S., she was the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Birch) Grover. After growing up in Cole Harbour, Guysborough County, she attended the Glace Bay General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at the Glace Bay General Hospital from 1970 until her retirement in 2010. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Glace Bay, until moving to Ontario to be closer to family in 2018. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-eight years, George, sons, John Thomas (Scott Waldron) and Christopher (Cendrine Hesson), and grandchildren Caleb and Cedric, all of Kemptville, Ontario. Also left to mourn include nieces, Laura, Melanie, Sandra, and Samantha, nephews, Erich, Robert, Sheldon, and Mark, sister-in-law, Cheryl Grover (Airdrie, Alberta), and brothers-in-law, William and Thomas Crosman (both of Halifax) and John England (Sr.) (Bridgewater). She was predeceased by her sister, Jean England, brother, Keith Grover, and nephew John England (Jr.). Visitation is Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 in the VJ McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 16 Reserve Street, Glace Bay from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 PM in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Marconi St., Glace Bay. Rev. Dorothy Miller officiating. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Maple Avenue, Glace Bay. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
