My sincere condolences to the family, I got the pleasure to meet Joe for a few short months as my daughter lived upstairs from him, he enjoyed sitting on the step and welcoming anyone that came around including me, my daughter and her boyfriend spent a lot of time getting to know him and talking to him, we all adored him and loved his sense of humour, he truly is missed and will always be remembered by us in the short time we got to know him, RIP Joe!

My sincere condolences on your loss. Joe was such a tremendous influence on me, when at 19 I started working with him at the “Boys Centre”. His sense of humour and commitment to helping young men move forward in their lives was inspiring. My sincere condolences to Bill, Joe, Tim, Glen n families on the passing of their father Joe. He is now back into the arms of his loving wife Kaye. Joe was a great man whom I had the privilege of knowing all my life. I remember when I was baby sitting Glen or just down their house visiting Joe would always walk me home to Dominion St #11 to make sure I got home safe n sound. I remember him asking my parents if he n Kaye could adopt me. Reading his obituary it's true that he would never let losing his vision stop him from doing what he wanted to do. When he wanted to do something nothing ever got in his way he did it. He will be missed by all that knew him. Heaven has received another Angel, Fly High. RIP Joe
