Only Fond Memories of Darrell ! We met through our work in early 2000’s in Carleton Place, and both ended up in Arnprior later. Although we didn’t know one another well, Darrell always had a hearty ‘Hey Leigh!’ for me anytime we met. There are ‘No Words’ that can bring Your family comfort right now. If nothing else, Your family should find comfort in the knowledge that You, Darrell, meant ‘Something Special’ to the people in Your every day life ! We are so saddened to hear of the passing of 'Spud'. He was part of our extended family for many years, and remained a good friend until his passing. We had so many wonderful times together in Ottawa. We'll never forget his generosity, kindness and hard work. Most of all, we'll remember the laughter. And there was so much laughter. We'll miss that.

One memory of Spud that stands out is one time is a bunch of us got together to paint a friend's house. I was in the kitchen amd Spud walked in and asked for a step ladder. We asked him why and he said to paint the foundation....we all laughed like crazy. May he rest in peace.
