To the family,
My sincere condolences on the passing of Doe. I knew Doe for many years. I don't think there ever was a time Doe would come into the legion and not stop by my table to say hello and have a little chit chat. God bless you all. May he RIP.

My mother's family and Doe have been connected at the hip for all his life, The Nightingales of New Aberdeen. I've known Doe since 1980 when I first started playing Colliery Hockey, It was right after that Doe tripped me and I got cut by his skate, as I lay bleeding on the ice Doe skated over and said ''sorry about that buddy'' And you know what he was, for many years we laughed about it. I have so much respect for Doe, I was honored to give him that medallion to put on his father's grave when he went over to Italy. To Doe's family please accept my deepest condolences at this difficult time. Doe Thank You for your service, You may now ''Stand At Ease''
