TO MY AUNT, COUSINS AND FAMILY; THERE IS NOTHING I CAN SAY TO TELL YOU ALL HOW HEART BROKEN I AM TO LOSE MY LOVING UNCLE. EVEN THOUGH I HAVEN'T SEEN MUCH OF HIM SINCE I MOVED AWAY I ALWAYS HAD HIM IN MY THOUGHTS WHEN I THOUGHT OF HOME. HE LOOKED SO MUCH LIKE GRAMPY THE LAST TIME I SAW HIM, IT MADE ME CRY. I'LL NEVER FORGET HOW STRONG YET GENTLE OF A MAN HE WAS. NEVER A HARSH OR BAD WORD SPOKEN OF ANYONE AND HIS LAUGH WOULD FILL A ROOM, I'LL TREASURE EVERY MOMENT I SPENT WITH HIM GROWING UP AND SPENDING MANY WEEKENDS AT NAN'S HOUSE. My heart is breaking from the loss of a beloved Uncle, husband, father, brother and Poppy. Distance has always made it difficult to see or really get to know Uncle Bernie, but he is and will always be a favourite one.
