We are mourning the passing of our beloved brother and uncle Joe. We gathered at Neice Nancy's today with Sheila, Francis, daughters Cathy and Nancy. Only two remain out of fifteen. Francis has dementia, but recognized Joe's passing as she remembered his kindness and accommodation during her visits to Cape Breton during their lifetimes. Please accept our sincere condolences during this difficult time and know that although we lived provinces apart, we never were separated in thoughts and prayers.

Don and I are good friends with Joes sister Sheila. When we went for an RV trip this summer we made arrangements with Joe to meet him. We thought he was a lovely man right away. He took us over and showed us the old house where the family grew up and the ocean front where they played. We're so glad we did meet him and we're very sorry for your loss.
