So very sorry for the loss of your husband and dad Bobby, John ,Peter and Barb n family. Simon was a very friendly and thoughtful man. When I cared for Sandy’s children he always made sure he called the boys over to give them suckers n treats, when we were on our outing. Bobby you lost a part of your heart but it will always be with Simon. Hugs.

I am so sorry to hear about Simon's passing. One of the best memories I have of Simon was when I was getting ready to go to my first NHL game in the early 80's. I had an old SLR camera that I didn't know how to use, so I brought it down to show Simon. He gave me a few hour lesson on how to use the camera (ISO, shutter speed, aperture, etc) so I could get the best pictures at the hockey game. The pictures turned out great, and many parts of that lesson still stick with me today.

Joan and I are saddened to learn of Simon’s passing, and we offer our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Bobby, John, Peter & Barb.
I had the pleasure, as a Councillor, to work on several projects with Simon. He was knowledgeable, committed, provided good advice, all with good humour and dedication to the Town of New Waterford. We were friends for many years, and it was always a happy, beneficial and interesting time when we met around Town.
His contributions to this community are appreciated and will be remembered.
