Barry, Juanita and families, I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mother. I can’t remember a time she wasn’t in my life. I remember when Theresa and your Dad would come to one of my parents parties and she was always so stylish. Tommy and Theresa would take to the dance floor and her shoes would come off. They danced beautifully together. I’m so happy I got to see her recently. We had such a great visit and a lot of laughs. It’s a profound loss for me so I can only imagine how you both feel. We’ll all share her memories and keep her alive in our hearts.

Nan always had sweets in the cabinet, my Dad (Arnold) favourite has always been molasses cookies. Every time you walked in the house she wanted to feed you and you always had a tea on the table before you sat down :)
When we were younger we would go there for Christmas dinner and Nan would always get our Aunt Juanita’s old Barbie’s and we loved them. I enjoyed watching her bake and cook or just talking to her.
This is not a good bye Nan, it’s Until we see you again. Now it’s time to be with your family, Papa and Dad. May you R.I.P
Don’t worry Nan I will keep calling and texting Juanita to make sure she is ok, she is taking this the hardest you two were more than mother and daughter you were best friends, just like her and Alicia are.

Dear Barry and Juanita,
We were all family growing up as our parents shared a long friendship that continued after we all left our homes to start homes of our own. Oh my, the stories! How do we ever pick just one that is a signature story to represent their lives? You lost a wonderful Mom who truly was a great example of what motherhood should be. We all have lost the last connection to that fabulous foursome. You were both much loved as we all know we were by Teresa. I am so very sorry for your loss. Theresa and Bruce.

Dearest Barry and Juanita, I am so heartbroken to hear about your beautiful mother. My husband, Gerry and my sister, Gail and I visited your Mom and Dad when we had come to Glace Bay to visit with Aunt Vivian.
