Met Buddy a number of years back when he was contending with a significant illness, that he just took in stride. Really enjoyed our chats, especially about my grand aunt Crissty. Buddy was an engaging story teller and a fine man. RIP Buddy.

To all of Buddy's family our deepest sympathy. I got to know the beaton family many years ago while visiting my cousins in New Waterford. They wer neyghbors and friends. I later met him at willliston house while visiting friends there. He was the same old Buddy and we recognized each other right away.We talked many times after that. On every visit there we wold remonice .. Allohis family and he were nice people. Rest in peace Buddy.

Buddy and the Beaton family were a big part of our family’s life growing up in New Waterford. He and my Mother were first cousins and were very close. We have such fond memories of Buddy. So very sorry to hear of Alan’s passing. He was such a beautiful soul and we always had a great laugh together whether it was in the dining room at Williston House or delivering meals to his room and petting his many pets He had left Williston House for some time now, but we still talk about him all of the time. Sending condolences to the Beaton Family....I now live in his family home and enjoyed a visit every now and then from Buddy. He would love to sit in the living room and tell stories of his childhood. He remembered everything about this house, and told stories about the 11th squeeky stair that woke his parents when he would be late returning home.
