I am sorry to hear of Herby’s passing. With a big heart Herby always dropped in when in Pictou County. Herbie always knew when I was in Cape Breton. I had not heard from him for a long time,and wondered if he was ill, Herbie was always in my thoughts, I cherish his friendship. Since leaving New Waterford I lost many good friends, Herby I counted as a close one. RIP old friend.

We were sad to hear about Herbie's passing. He was a neighbour to my brother Ron on Mahon St., and we got to chat often over the last couple of years during my visits to my brothers. Herbie got a great kick out of hearing Ronnie call his name out loud every time he walked by Ron's window heading to town or out and about. Las time we talked was just recently, early June when I seen him in the laundry room and he yelled "is that you Linda, you are home again visiting, I don't think your brother Ron is home cause he never yelled my name when I walked by Heeerbieeee" lol so we chatted a bit we always spoke about God's love for us in Christ, as Herbie knew that He was loved by our Father and our life is Eternal. Praying God's love peace and comfort for all his family & friends during this time, you will be missed Herbie until we are all together again.
