Obituary of William Herbert Fahey, New Waterford

With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Herbie, at home on Thursday, June 28, 2023

Born in New Waterford, he was a son of the late William “Bill’ and Lena (Anderson) Fahey.

Herbie was a well-known taxi driver in and around New Waterford where he made many good friends.

Surviving are his siblings, Mary, Raymond (Mary), Freddie (Mildred), Theresa (Brian), and Tillie (Terry);  many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his wife, Pam.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford. A graveside service will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023 in Mount Carmel Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. with Deacon Lorne MacNeil officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Army, Navy, Airforce, Unit 217, New Waterford.
