Christene MacDonald, age 88 formerly of Maple Avenue, Glace Bay passed away on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at Seaview Manor.

Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Ranald and Margaret (MacLeod) MacDonald.

Christene taught school at MacKay’s corner, Caledonia and retired from Morrison High School. She was the last surviving member of her family. Christene will be remembered as a very kind lady who loved animals.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, Glace Bay. A private burial will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Glace Bay.
