I met Yackie back in the 80's. Crazy as a bag of hammers. Always the guy to have your back with whatever you needed. He was a great friend to Wally.

Although Yacky grew up above our house, I didn’t get to know him until he became close friends with my brother Michael (Cow) Lasovski later in life. He was such a fine, humble and reliable guy and was a great help to my sister and I when our brother got sick and after he passed away. He was always willing to help and reluctant to accept anything but a thank you for all he did. We were so grateful to him. God rest his dear soul and comfort all his loved ones with their happy memories of his winning ways!

Our paths crossed on very few occasions, but I do remember him as a guy I would like to have known better. He was clearly loved by family and friends, whose love is the best tribute of all.
