Such a sad and shocking situation to hear. My heart goes out to Veronica particularly. Losing two children as she has must be the most devastating experience a Mom could ever have. To Hannah, his only living sibling, I’m so very sorry. To Eileen who would have cared for him forever, my heart goes out to you. To his children, my sincere condolences. Blair, even though he was at home for many years, and pretty much incapacitated, still had a good life because of the excellent care he received, not only by outside caregivers, but particularly his Mom and Eileen. I’m praying for you guys. Love and hugs.

Blair, we can still remember the day we were matched with you in Big Brothers and Sisters. We had many fond memories. You lived to baseball and ask me to go to your games. Which both Duncan and I did. As you grew up. I can remember your mother telling us how you were doing. The terrible car accident and how you fought to live from it. You were a true life fighter. Our whole lives we have agreed and disagreed on a whole lot of things because that's what cousin do but know one thing for sure that I loved you with all my heart. We have so many memories of our kids growing up from our playground trips and beach days to Birthday parties and family gatherings. I will cherish these memories forever.
