I am extremely sorry to hear the news of Martin’s passing. I had met Martin the week of Tom and Livvy’s wedding, he was kind and fun. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Martin and send our heartfelt condolences to Cathy and Olivia and his entire family. We had the pleasure of Martin's company on only a few occassion including the marriage of our son Tom to Olivia and at Christmas in Ottawa several years ago. Martin was a humble, respectful and thoughtful man who loved to talk music and sports especially hockey and baseball. We wish we had more time together And we will miss you Martin.

I enjoyed spending time with Martin. He was the most kind of individuals - strong of character. I always felt at home around him no matter where we were.
I look back happily, and with such gratitude that he was a part of some of our biggest memories like sharing the news that Liv was expecting Elsie (our first) on Christmas Day, and our wedding.
Martin put his family first and for that, Martin, I thank you.

Martin was one of the nicest, kindest, and still hard working at the age of 75. You have been in our lives for the 30+ years and always loved my mother with all your heart. I always enjoyed listening to you about many random things and how you put me to shame when it came to our sport talks. All the games you played with Analise and let her win and the music you introduced her to on a Friday night. Lisa and Phillip I am very sorry for your loss.

Dear Cathy, Phillip and Lisa, I am so very sorry to here of Martin’s passing. Martin was a dear friend and neighbor to our family for many years. It is one of the saddest days in my life when I heard the news that the brother who I thought of as my best friend died. He taught Blanche and I and our two boys how to live life to the fullest and with laughter at every turn. He will be sadly missed. Our hearts are with Phillip and Lisa and especially Cathy who made Martin so happy.
