My very deepest condolences to you all. It was very clear that she adored all of you. She was certainly a force to be reckoned with and I’ll always enjoy remembering her laugh, her slipping me a folded up 20 for grading each year, and having my cheeks grabbed and pulled in for a kiss every time I visited, even at 30 ❤️ God bless you guys. I know there will be a huge gap in your lives, but I know without a doubt she’s closer to you than ever -K

I’m being flooded with memories of growing up with Roddie and the family on School street. The time we were at the brook with Alex and some kids we had some type of a raft and someone fell in so we all decided to jump in Stinky ole sewer water. In no time Roddie showed up and piled us in the old station wagon scolding us saying we could get polio. A mother to us all. The door was always open at the house and you could never refuse a cup of that strong steep tea sitting on the back burner. She was a pillar, a women of strength who loved her family fiercely. I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Roddie. I spent my early childhood as her neighbor and remember her as a very caring person. Her voice still echoes in my head. RIP. Ed MacDonald
