So very sorry to hear of Uncle Dave's passing! My sincere condolences and thoughts to Margie & family as well as Aunt Marg & Uncle Doug! I have such fond childhood memories of the time that I got to spend with Uncle Dave and can still hear his laugh and remember his kindness to our family. It wasn't until much later in life when I brought mom down to Cape Breton for her 80th birthday that I found out really nobody called him Dave or David and that he was always known as Carter. I will cherish all of the wonderful memories and he may now be gone but will never be forgotten! Rest in peace Uncle Dave! Sincerely, Mike Wadden

Remembering our Uncle David with much love and will always miss his great sense of humour, laugh and amazing stories, including the one that he flew the plane that was at the Peterborough zoo. We always enjoyed his company when he visited his brothers Jack, Lawrence, sisters Mary and Kay, and all the nieces and nephews in Toronto and Peterborough, and have many fond and fun memories to cherish always. I will remember my uncle David for the many memories he left with us. From working in his barber shop and letting us kids eat whatever candy we wanted, to taking us with him to his baseball games. Our fondest memory is David telling all us kids that he was the one who flew the plane that is at the Ptbo zoo and to us kids, he was our superhero. Thanks for all the wonderful memories.
