MICHAEL MCINTYRE posted a condolence
Tuesday, March 12, 2024
In the arms of our Savior, may my beloved son Michael rest. His life was a testament to love, kindness, wisdom and adventure. In his laughter we found joy, in his intelligence inspiration. As courageous as he was gentle; creative yet analytical. His spirit remains alive within us all. He walked with Christ during life and now is wrapped in divine grace for eternity. While temporal reunion eludes us, I trust that through Christ's unyielding power we will meet again in everlasting glory. Amen.

To Michael,
In Loving Memory.
Our hearts are truly broken,
and tears won't seem to dry.
You said "everything happens for a reason"
Though we struggle knowing why.
The memories of the years we shared,
on adventures near and far,
we kept in photos on the mantel,
and love notes in a jar.
Thoughts of happy times together,
our life, our pets, our home,
are comfort as we mourn the death,
of the greatest love we'd ever know.
You'll live on through our little boy,
and I'll see you in his smile;
and feel thankful for the time we had,
if only for a while.
The echo of your laughter,
and your hunger without end,
lasting memories of the life you lived,
husband, father, family, and friend
Love, Vicki & Layk

Dear Amanda
On behalf of our family please accept our heartfelt sympathy as you grieve the loss of your brother Michael.
Getting to know you over the past six months has been a joy.
In the last month in particular we have been deeply touched as you have shown so much grace and strength in supporting Michael on a daily basis with his battle against cancer. He had an incredible will to live.
Not once did you ever waiver from keeping his spirits up and giving him hope . How very blessed he was to have you by his bedside 12, 18 and at times 24 hours a day. You and your sisters showed so much courage and will have a bond that only you three will hold in your hearts.
Right now your emotions are raw and numb as you return to Glace Bay to say your goodbyes, but hopefully as life returns to “normal” in the days and months ahead the healing will begin and you will be able to remember Michael through your happy memories of him and those memories will bring a smile and comfort to you.
We light this Blue candle in Memory of Michael, for his many travels across the ocean and for his shining star now in the blue sky.
With much love,
Robert, Jeanie, David, Casey, Jillian, Michelle, Mia

My brother has always been there for me Wayne,Tasha and Nick , my sisters and the rest of our family. It's been very painful to acknowledge that you are no longer here with us to make a phone call, facetime or to even to hang out for a visit or be there on holidays birthdays or just to have a conversation or hear your voice one last time.
You were always there to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it. You had an easy going attitude and made sure we all had a great day, and even going through Cancer you never complained once about what you were going through.
I remember when you watched my kids when I went to Cuba you lost my cell phone, blew up my microwave doing a science experiment with the kids and losing my dog and you would not say a thing til I got home because you wanted to make sure we had a great time while we were away.
I remember when I called and asked you help me set up the trampoline for the kids because Wayne was in Afghanistan and you came right over.
I remember Nan, family and friends all knew noone could curb your appetite and that you loved food and yet you never gained a pound.
There are so many memories of us growing up, going to school Christmas's and every holiday you would call and be there for us all.
The loss of you Michael is something that can never be recovered. You had accomplished and succeeded many great things life. It still comes as a shock that you are no longer here with us. You will forever be missed by so many.
Your son Layk will never forget what a great Father you were to him as he was your whole world.
You are loved by many and will be forever missed,
Until we meet again rest in peace,
Theresa and Family
