I have known Dan since my early days practicing as an immigration and refugee lawyer. He became a good friend to my sister, Terri. While I talked to him frequently after he retired from the government, it was after he moved into the long care home, that I talked to him almost everyday, sometimes several times a day. He really was fascinated with the music from the 60's and 70's as mostly I checked out old albums and background details about artists from that time on my computer as Dan didn't use one. I will miss his calls and his humour. Condolences to his family.

Dan; was always driven by a passion for fairness; a reasonable approach; and in his capacity as a CBSA officer, and in being vocal in sharing his observations with administration, he actually helped to make a better Canada, Dan Snow, my good friend, was a good man.
