To Susan and family: I was really saddened to hear about your mom's passing Susan. I used to spend quite a bit of time visiting Irene when I lived in Hamilton. I do remember she always had a knitting project on the go when I would go over there. We had some laughs and a few cries as well over those years. My family went down to Nova Scotia for a holiday when my kids were very young and I spent a day with Irene. She had just gotten her driver's license very shortly beforehand and she drove me over to my Nanny's gravesite. Which is now also where our mom is resting. She had wanted to get her license for so many years so she was pretty happy about finally achieving that. I only regret that I did not keep in touch with her over these past years. Susan & Family I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, our cousin. I remember we use to spend time with her when she lived in Burlington. She was always so kind to us. Your Mom & my Mom, had a very special friendship throughout the years. Now your Mom rejoins all her family & Friends in Heaven. God Bless you & your Family.
