I am saddened to learn of Florine's passing. I worked with her in the mid-70s at BEC. She was a mentor and helped me learn a lot during my time there. She was kind, caring, generous with both her knowledge and time and such a lovely woman. We saw each other again years later in yoga class and at various functions around town; she was still the same friendly, active lady. My sincere condolences to the family.

To an amazing family of an incredible lady. Truly such a beautiful person, so genuine, so kind. My first time meeting Florine, ( Florinteen) was our shopping trip to Halifax, myself , Florinteen and Cindy at the wheel. Immediately it was like I knew her forever.
And since that day she was very special to me, I loved her dearly. You are all a reflection of her. She was so proud of her beautiful family. Our Mothers are who we are.

Thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to Florine's family upon her passing. I have known Florine for most of my life meeting her in my Aunt's neighborhood as a young child then onto seeing her daily at her work then as a coworker for my work practicum from my business program.She was a wonderful lady with so much love in her heart for her family and those of us fortunate to have known her.
