I was saddened to learn of Delores’ death this afternoon after the service was over. I am so sorry to have missed it. Delores always had a smile and a chat for me her paperboy. She and Mom were close friends across the fence and the Browns and Kennedys were always connected.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on reading of Delores' passing. I was visiting Marilyn but a month ago and asked about her. I certainly remember Delores from Woolworth's in New Waterford, the times out Boisdale (Darlene/Donna), playing Tarbish with Nanny and Poppy Watson, Boisdale Beach. Good times. We were sad to hear of Delores passing.Our condolences to Alex and family..Delores was a kind,thoughtful and beautiful lady…A special friend to our mother Betty with whom she stayed in contact throughout her life…I do remember her as a baby sitter to the Murray kids (…no easy task),,being rooster at the scat club gatherings at our house, and our visits to the cottage in Boisdale ..(… the double hole outhouse and the times at the rocky beach are life long memories)….A beautiful person who will be missed………Curtis & Joann Murray

My Kennedy Family
I loved your mother. I loved seeing her coming up the driveway to Karen and Darrells. For a chat, a swim or a bite. And if she wasn't coming Id say Karen call your mother to come up because I enjoyed her company so much. Always a smile, she made everyone feel like she was happy to see them. She treated everyone with kindness, and her loss will be felt by many people. And she was funny! Her wonderful nature and sense of humour lives on in all her children and grandchildren. Delores was a wonderful woman. She was like a second mother to me all my life. Every Sunday she made roast for dinner. I will cherish the memories I have of her.
