To the McNamara family,
I wish to express my sympathies to the family for the loss of Charles. Even though I didn't know him personally, it grieves the heart to lose a loved one, who loved music and worked hard.
It seems that we are never ready to pass away, which shows that our Creator did not intend life to end. So a comforting hope from the Bible says "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (in God's memory) will hear his voice and come out . . to a resurrection of life." (John 5:28,29). And the promise when "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more . . . nor pain be anymore" in the Paradise to come, right here on earth. (Revelation 21:4)

Mary, the McNamara Family and Colleen,
So sorry and sad to hear of the passing of Charlie. He was always so kind and sweet to me when I was a kid hanging out at the McNamara home with Colleen. Charlie always had a smile and a funny story to tell; and he always made us laugh. He was so musically talented and I loved to see him play and hear him sing; in fact, I liked him so much he played at my wedding. I remember that wonderful night, with the best music, great dancing, and the fondest of memories; all due to Charlie's talents. Through the years, whenever I saw Charlie, I always felt happy and really enjoyed his company and conversation. Your passing, sweet Charlie, has brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat. Love you Charlie and enjoy playing in God's Band. You will always be missed and fondly remembered. Our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to Mary and the family.
