out sweet, wonderful , forever loved Roy....... we will be eternally grateful for you , you hired my Dad, Edward Melnick, at kentucky fried chicken many years ago, he was employed there for 22 years and he absolutly thought the entire world of you, i guess he was at the gate to greet you with a handshake and a smile , as Da always did . When I would see them ( wouldn't see one without the other), they would always bring a smile to my face, they were always happy to see you. They both were huge pillars of the Scouting community. Dee, Rose, and family. My deepest condolences. I only met Roy a couple of times, but he sure made an impression...especially those blue eyes. Rose and family, so sorry to read of Roy's passing. He was truly an exception human being. I looked so forward to visits to your home with Helen to listen to your stories of the past and I was always captivated by your detailed recollections. I tell everyone the "card" story - you shared a real love for one another ❤️ Both of you have such a way with words. Of course, there was always fresh baked goods and a cuppa tea to share. Great memories. Rest in peace Roy in the arms of God.
