Helen Tatlock , 68 of New Waterford, N.S., passed away peacefully on March 11, 2018, at the Palliative Care Unit, CBRH surrounded by her loved ones.

She worked at Maple Hill Manor, Breton Bay Nursing Home, Community Living for Mentally Challenged, Board Member Alzheimer Society of N.S., Cape Breton Chapter Alzheimer Society, Volunteer at
Helen was such a gift to those whose hearts and spirits needed her healing energy of pure love.
We who are left behind with heavy hearts and loving memories are her husband, Blair Tatlock, daughter, Lana, son, John Blair (Jenelle), granddaughter, Meaghan (Mitch), grandson, Riley, sister, Nadine (Dwight) Oliver, brother, Wayne (Carol) Munroe, sister-in-law, Donna (Terry), brother-in-law, Derek (Anita), nieces and nephews, many cousins and special friends who loved her dearly.
Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by brothers, Blair, Calder and her sister, Marilyn.
In honouring Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford.
